Three-Day Study Visit to the University of Ljubljana Successfully Completed

As part of the Erasmus+ project SMEQA – Strengthening Capacities and Mechanisms for Enhancement of Quality Assurance System in Higher Education in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a three-day study visit was held at the University of Ljubljana from June 10 to 12, 2025.

The first day offered valuable insights into the University of Ljubljana’s quality assurance system and fostered a constructive exchange of experiences among the project partners. The agenda included topics such as internal quality monitoring at the study programme, faculty, and university levels; the role of the Quality Commission at both faculty and university levels; and an example of quality assurance in work-based learning.

The second day of the study visit was dedicated to an internal quality workshop, which proved to be highly productive. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanged valuable practices aimed at enhancing internal quality assurance mechanisms.

The third day of the study visit focused on project coordination and planning. Participants discussed the proposal of enhanced models of external evaluation (WP2), ongoing activities within the project (WP3), and dissemination efforts (WP5). They also reviewed the remaining activities planned for the second project year, addressed the preparation of the Interim Report, and concluded the visit with final remarks and reflections. The study visit provided a valuable platform for knowledge exchange, strengthened collaboration among project partners, and contributed significantly to the ongoing development of quality assurance systems in higher education.
